DIY Apple Facial Mask

Apple facial mask is good for all skin types! Fruits have nutrients that can provide excellent rejuvenating factor for our skin! This is a good and cheap way of keeping your skin smooth and healthy! I don't have a good complexion ever since i entered secondary school! But it got slightly better when i left school after my O levels. Due to lack of sleep, the polluted air and the humid weather, i definitely need this frequently to keep my face in a healthy condition! Here's another first attempt of trying this mask. Apple contains glycolic acid which is a natural exfoliator and this helps to keep pores clear, which means less acne. On the other hand, honey calms the skin and is a natural moisturizer.

If you want to know how to do this simple facial mask, keep on reading! Warning: This can get really messy!

All you need: One red/green apple & honey
*Do not use if your skin burns or if you are allergic to any of the ingredients used.
You will only need 1/4 of an apple
Chop it up into smaller bits and mash it!
Adding only one teaspoon of honey
Mix it and you will get a mixture like this (below)
You will then probably need a headband/hairband or a rubber band to keep your hair all up!
But i would prefer a headband hehe

Mix it thoroughly. You can also place it in the refrigerator before applying!
Then you are all ready to put it all over your face! Better to do this when you are lying down so that all the bits stays on your face. Leave it for 15-20 minutes!
After that, rinse it with cold water and dry it with a clean dry towel.

Here are the results:
I know it is rather bright, as you can see i don't have a good complexion but i was amazed by this mask because it felt smoother than before! Doing this a couple of times and i'm sure it'll get better!

There are other ways of doing this mask. Here are other amazing recipes that i found online:
