COOKIE MONSTER MUFFINS

Made Cookie Monster muffins for the very first time and it turned out really delicious as mentioned by my friends who tried them! I decided to give them a try after visiting so many websites and video tutorials. The steps are really simple, but you need patience to do it slowly one by one. There are so many ways to do this, but i prefer this method the most after trying them out. Thank goodness i had my girlfriend to help me out with this the first time for our beloved friend's 19th birthday.

If you're interested to know how to make them, read on!

I used:
  • Oreo cookies/marshmallows
  • Chocolate chips
  • Shredded coconut
  • Cream cheese
  • Vanilla extract
  • Chips Ahoy cookies
  • Cupcake/muffin tray

Recipes/ingredients needed can be found here:

It took us almost half an hour to complete 12 pairs of eyes by using the oreo cookies because weren't to find white chocolate for the eyes so we had to do it ourselves.
A reasonable amount of shredded coconut with blue colouring to coat 12 muffins
Not forgetting the blue cream cheese!
Then coating the top with the cream cheese, then coat it again with the coconut before placing the cookie (mouth) and the eyes.

This was the end product of the 12 muffins we made. We were pretty proud of ourselves actually, having to accomplished this for the very first time. We headed over to baybeats that evening for a drink because we felt that we deserved it hahaha

A week later, i've decided to do it again because there were still leftovers of the blue cream cheese and i didn't want to waste it. And i've also decided to use marshmallows instead of oreos for the eyes this time because it was too time consuming and found a better alternative. It took me only an hour plus to complete doing all 12 muffins alone on a saturday afternoon.

Same thing, just coating the muffin with the cream cheese, then another coating with the coconut before placing the cooking (mouth) and the eyes.
I was glad that it (the eyes) turned out better than expected!
Go try them out if you have the time and have a passion for baking!

MY 19TH BIRTHDAY

I JUST TURNED NINETEEN LAST SATURDAY! (there goes my last teenage year)
Celebrated my 19th last weekend over at RWS Hotel Michael! Even though the room was rather small, i tried to make the best of it. Many turned up and some even surprised me with gifts! I'm really blessed to have friends like you guys, even though some weren't invited or couldn't make it, they offered to treat me to a belated birthday dinner some other day. HOW SWEET. I can't thank you guys enough really! No words can express how fortunate i feel. Here are the photos for the 1st night!
I need to learn how to stop caring too much
